Many thanks to those of you who contributed recipes for this Collection- please keep them coming! The booklet will be updated as necessary to include new recipes.

About PW

Continuing in September 2024, we offer three Circles: Morning, Afternoon, and Evening. Ladies are invited to come to any or all of these Circles. Our Morning Circle meets at 9:45 AM on the 2nd Thursday of the month in the Fellowship Hall. We begin with time for Fellowship before our Bible Study. A short Business Meeting follows. Our Afternoon Circle is usually held on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at a member's home. The dates of our Evening Circles vary, depending on attendees' schedules, and is held at a member's home.

PW Purpose

Forgiven and freed by God in Jesus Christ, and empowered by the Holy Spirit, we commit ourselves

- to nurture our faith through prayer and Bible study,

- to support the mission of the church worldwide,

- to work for justice and peace, and

- to build an inclusive, caring community of women that strengthens the Presbyterian Church (USA) and witness to the promise of God's kingdom.

Our Book 'n Tea Group meets monthly. The location and date of our meetings varies but is included in the weekly announcements. We read books of our own individual choice, and come prepared to describe them.

Annual Projects:

- Brownies/candy for our college students (February)

- Annual Fundraiser (November)- "Munchin' 4 Missions... & More!"- a walk-through bake and crafts sale

-Seasonal Sisterhood Socials

- Presbytery of the James PW (Spring and Fall Gatherings)

- Synod Gathering (June)

- PW Church-wide Gathering

The new 2024-2025 PW Horizons Bible Study is Let Justice Roll Down: God's Call to Care for Neighbors and All Creation by Patricia K. Tull. Read about it here. Study books are available from the office at $10 each.

We recognized our out-going Coordinating Team and installed our new Coordinating Team during worship on Sunday, May 21, 2023.

We packed care packages for our college students in February. They were thrilled to receive them!
